In the end of March, just before AB, I decided to create an alt and to start a new adventure. I was inspired by Somars Chronicles which I read with a great pleasure. The aim was: how far on the explore map I will be able to go using only 3 star creatures?
After reflection I accepted one exception: I can use recycle melded on 4 star creature. Other 4 and 5 star skills are certainly very usefull but I Can imagine a good deck without disposal, instakill, tempest, sacrifice. I knew that I will regret immunity but I will try without.
At the beginning I started - of course with simple Faen deck and Stormkallar. I didnt put any glory in Stormkallar and I went quickly for Agni, I wanted his Agile and hero hitting skill was very usefull too in first maps. My first deck consisted from 3 Frost Ragers, one Magic Healer and Treant quide. Soon I succeded to add Faen Marksmann. With this deck I could go easily almost at the end of Map 4 where Venom Tyrant was the first one real obstacle.
My objective was to create 3 decks: Faen deck Frost Ragers with Bless and Sprite Link, Faen Marksmans with Dodge (incredibly surprising creature!), Treant quide with Bless. As a hero I choosed to go for Devil Hunter because on my main account I used Predator and I wanted to try this one.
Neader deck Based completely on Blood Warlocks with Earth Totem 6 and I wanted to try some Allert guard - its Battleblow and Stoneskin seems really usefull, its base HP should be buffed by Warlocks. As a hero I went for Paw Master (I have Bersekr on my main) with Spiky Bits and Full Alert.
Hero killing deck Dark Witches and Border Rangers with Dark Witch and Royal Guard later.
But it was a long term project. My first melds was Bless Frost Rager and second Sprite Link 6 Frost Rager (Got it from Pale dragon which I got from coupons). I added two more Ragers and I finished map 4 with this deck: Agni, Agile 5 and Faen Vitality 5 Bless Rager Sprite Link 6 Rager 3 unmelded Ragers Treant quide Magic Healer Faen Marksman
Tomorow I will continue how I passed map 5, 6, 7 until the famous 8-11.

The big advantage of 3 star deck was that from the beginning I could go quite far in gauntlet (deck power remains naturally low) which allowed me to buy creatures from gauntlet mall. And I found a very good target for Bloody lord and I melded its soul swap to frost rager. This creature stay alive for a long time and with rune (I leveled it to 6) make its attack growing.
And I got a surprise! When I almost finished Devil Hunter, I got Hydra from IGG! In few days I get on her firestorm7 and in another few days I was lucky to get protection 6 and fleshfeast7.
With these two creatures my deck got new dimension. I was able to go to level 35 in trials, passed in top 1300 in arena and did all map 5 and part of map 6.
And my first meld day came! I succeeded recycle HB on second try and did 2 Earth totem Blood warlocks. At this moment I really missed gold and essences a lot. I achieved level 50 and my deck started to give me some satisfaction:
Hydra HB recycle soul swap Rager bless Rager Sprite Link Rager bless treant quide 2 unmelded ragers magic healer (with level 7 fire rune) Faen marksman (level 15 waiting to meld dodge from Light Brave on it but I needed more copies from Valhalla) Remaining spot I filled with Blood Warlock or Alert guard (also waiting for more copies and dodge)
This deck was able to got level 65 in Trials and 40 gems daily (until level 60)! And on maps I could go finish all map 8 including famous 8-11 (done on second try).

As the next meld day was only in July my deck didnt change a lot for a long time. I succeded to finish Devil Hunter (Agile 5, Faen Aura 5 and Firewall 5) and Paw Master (Spikybits8, Full Alert and Neander Aura) but I did not use them. With the deck above I succeeded to get to 9-11 but this stage seemed to me as a dead end for a long time... I tried Chaos Witch with 10 Dark Witches (thanks Valhalla - at least for this project it is usefull) but I didnt pass 4000 hero hp. In May Alice Bond I bought silver and bronze but only useless 4*. But I started to buy star becouse I decided to continue AB and when I will find a wall in my 3* adventure I will start to play Elemaki. I did not spend anything, only 675 gems on Altar for guaranteed pull when there was a chance to get GM. And what do you think? Undying will... In Arena I was able to stay around place 400. Good new I got sac rune - unfortunatelly 3* cant have sac but it will be good later. When equipement come I just built slowly all 6 level 5 white ones and I am working very slowly on orange materials. Finally meld day came!!! I could meld my second recycle HB, dodge8 Faen Marksman, 2 soul swap ragers, dodge 8 Alert guard and stab graboid for violence rune. This was my new deck: Hydra El. Vapor level 3, protection 6, Forestorm 9 and Daeth Cloud 7 3 Soul Swap 8 Ragers Faen Marksmann Dodge 8 2 Rec HB Rager Sprite Link 6 Rager Bless 7 Treant Guide bless 7 Magic Healer or Faen Marksmann And this deck had a lot of nice surprises for me! In one day I passed nort only 9-11 but whole map 10 and the beginning of map 11! And on second try I beat 11-4!!! Also my second spiky bit deck evolve nicely: I have now 9 Blood warlock - 6 of them with Earth totem 6 and dodge Alert guard. I am able now to do 5* vitality and 5* violence rune gromoire. Mine main deck is good enough for vitality (auto) and 9 warlock with staboid are doing violence one (I only need to place staboid under human creature). In arena I reached top 100 but usually I am around 120. And soon after the meld day we had another round of AB! I could buy platinum, silver and bronze bonds. I got Snow Harlot from platinum and Mimirs tree from silver In the exploration maps I am stuck on 11-7. Captivator is killing me... I know I passed it with curse deck on my main, I need to try more. In last meld day I got 2 stab border rangers, I hope it will be enough for this stage.

I just passed 11-8 with this deck
Chaos With level4 mortii vitality 5, shadow hex 3 8 Dark witches, voodoo rune level 4 2 border rangers, stab rune level 5
The rest of the map 11 followed quickly with the same deck. My belt give 1,61 % skill potency and it seems to help a little. When I passed these on Nafai, I had spirit sirens and it was difficult. I am suprised how easy this was.

Not very much, I will watch it more carefully when the game will be on again. Vodoo (S) should deal 400 + 1,6% of hero health = 700 and it did around 900. It is a small difference but if you multiply it by 8 Witches, it makes 1600 hero Hp only with vodoo (S) plus Curse (6) which should make around 520 and do 700 HP.
But definitely this does not explain huge damage dealt by witches as shown on the other forum.

At the point where I am it seems really difficult to improve my 3* decks. Yours ideas are welcome here!
I beated 12-1 to 12-5 with my main deck. 12-5 was really tough I needed 5 tries to do it. Otherwise I succeeded to get Earth totem level 15 skill card and one of mine warlocks have ET10 now! I would love to have more of these. I want to try injured Manticore - with bullsey rune and leveled injured rune I think it can help me in increase rage of my hydra. Another idea can be soul swap Faen Marksman - but I am not sure.
In arena I got 64 place. And I keep my place in tournament now (around 6000). But for arena and tournament I use also 4* and 5*.

12-11 was hard. I needed recycle Venom Tyrant to come in first cards and Oinari not to bring him back.

Otherwise I did some progress, Trials 99, Arena 47.
Map 13 will be real challenge. I may succeed 1st maps but 13-11 seems impossible. I know it can be done with spiky bit deck with FA neanders but there are no 3 stars FA neanders and FA cant be melded to 3 star. Only possibility seems to be heavily runned BB8 manticoras, 5 star hero with high bersekr and war hungry and lot of luck... But next 5 star hero seems really far until I keep my gems for AB... All ideas are welcome!
Now there are still few dungeons which can be done, I hope.

I'm really impressed, specialy with your Trials 99.
It's exactly where i am now, and i'm level 87 with Armageddon and lot of 5stars with some melded.
I'm can't pass lvl100 and often lose before that in auto/skip mode ! Do you adjuste your deck a lot depend the level of the trials ? (Mithril drone is really helping ofr map 90+)

Thanks Shivangogh! For trials I use deck with Mythril, Snow Harlot, 2 recycle HB, dodge Marksman, 4 Frost Rager, last one I try sometímes onother Faen Marksman, or Mimirs Tree or Injured Manticore (she is surprising).
With Arma you should be able to pass level 100. With my main account I use Arma, 2 recycle HB, Mythrill, Disposal Hellwolf, FA Eye of Ionara, Sac Pit Dragon and Sac Twins, Killer queen, Im9 Michael and retreat QT - done few times level 119, on regular basis 109.

Flame mage melded d pyre 6 is a good card. Goes well with gladiator chains as a combo. Sorcery rune, fire runes. But in the later maps the immunity.... hero kill will still get you through 13. Doing things like this is awesome. Too many people are infatuated with getting the rare and powerfull cards that few explore the possibilities of the lesser cards and game in general. I think if you work a three star deck to its maximum potential... who knows how far you will go. Especially with the ability to level skills

Map 13 is quite challenging for my 3 star army.
13-1, 13-2 and 13-3 I could do with my spiky bits deck - I updated spiky bits to 10 and Army of Blood warlock plus two HB rec works well.
13-4 seemed impossible in the beginning. I used my curse deck but enemy finished always with 5k-6k hp. So I started to improve my curse deck 1) got shadow hex from 3 to 8 ( I wanted undying but was not lucky) - dammage from 450 to 1200 launch 3 times in match, I got 2,2k here 2) on meld day I did discord 5 dark witch - if discord activate I get 1k more 3) upgraded BB on one of my Rangers from 2 to 4 4) upgraded stab rune from 5 to 6 5) Put my best hero vigor rune (+40000) to my hero
And I did it! My deck: Chaos Witch level5 mortii vitality 5, shadow hex 8 1 Dark Witch melded with Discord 5, voodoo rune l5 7 Dark witches, voodoo rune level 4 2 border rangers, stab rune level 6, violence rune III level 5
13-5 was even harder becouse my crits never stayed in play more than one round. I had to get lucky to pass and get 2 hippo in first 3 cards, this way I could use 2 of my withes twice (Hippo S retreat helped me a lot). And done!
For 13-6 I will have to find different tactic. Patriarch has 2 Oracles.
